Glin UI

Roadmap

What we are building

Grouped by status, not by date. Plans change, and anything here may shift or be dropped.

Now

In progress or in review.

  • Version 2 release

Design hub repositioning, token-first styling, the glinr variant system and the new docs site.

  • Tailwind 4 entry and precompiled CSS

A namespaced Tailwind 4 theme for tokens plus a precompiled styles.css for consumers without Tailwind.

    Details
  • Blog and release notes

Long-form posts, an RSS feed and a changelog page rendered from each package.

    Details

Next

Planned once the current work lands.

  • Base UI or Radix adapter question

Decide whether consumers that avoid Radix, such as icon-library sites, need a thinner adapter layer.

  • Drawer and bottom sheet

A touch-first sheet with drag to dismiss, focus management and reduced motion support.

  • Chart kit

Token-driven charts that follow the base color and variant system.

  • App shell blocks

Sidebar, topbar and settings layouts next to the existing marketing blocks.

    Details
  • Visual regression checks

Automated screenshots per variant, theme and base color so style drift is caught in review.

Later

Wanted, not scheduled. May change or drop.

  • Tailwind 4 for the docs app

Move this site itself to Tailwind 4 once the consumer entry has settled.

  • More adapted ports

Additional components from MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD or ISC sources only, each with attribution and provenance.
